WHAT WE USUALLY LOOK FOR

Authenticity is our thing. If you have something to say, we want to hear it.

Short Fiction:

• We only accept one short story at a time.

• Short stories should be between 2000-5000 words.

• Short stories can be of any genre, as long as they connect to the given theme of an issue.

Flash Fiction:

• We accept single pieces of flash fiction, or series up to five pieces long.

• A piece of flash fiction should be no longer than 1000 words.

Poetry:

• We accept single pieces of poetry, or series up to five pieces long.

• A poem should be no longer than 2 pages long.

Non-Fiction, Memoir, Essays and Interviews:

• We only accept one piece of non-fiction at a time.

• Non-Fiction should be between 2000-5000 words, however we will accept larger word counts if the piece is exceptional and demands it.

Photography:

• We accept single photographs, or series of photographs of up to five pieces.

Illustration/Visual Art:

• We only accept single illustrations or pieces of visual art.

• Artwork must be no larger than a single page, and ideally be portrait.
